This page explains how to request permanent account deletion, what happens to your information, and how long the process takes.

FASTEST METHOD
Profile → Privacy & Security Settings → Delete your account

Open the Shaqogoob mobile app and sign in.
Tap Profile, then open Privacy & Security Settings.
Scroll to Delete your account and tap Delete my account.
Read and confirm both deletion warnings. You will be signed out when the request is accepted.
OPTION 2
Email us from the address registered to your Shaqogoob account. Use the subject “Delete my Shaqogoob account” and include your full name and registered email address. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.

DELETION TIMELINE
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone after it has been processed.
Your account is disabled, active sessions are revoked, and you can no longer sign in.
Personal data scheduled for deletion is removed from Shaqogoob's active systems.
No additional fixed retention period applies to data scheduled for deletion.
Limited records covered by a legal, security, transaction, or active-dispute exception may be kept beyond 30 days only for the applicable statutory or necessary period. They are then deleted or anonymized.
DATA WE DELETE
Your name, email address, phone number, password credentials, connected sign-in accounts, active sessions, and device tokens.
Your profile details, photo, CVs and resumes, certificates, work history, education, skills, and preferences.
Your applications, cover letters, saved jobs and companies, job alerts, notification history, and interview records linked only to your account.
Direct messages and personal support content, unless a limited copy must be retained for security, an active dispute, or a legal obligation.
LIMITED RETENTION
Shaqogoob does not keep deleted personal data for general product use. These limited exceptions may apply:
Company profiles, published jobs, shared applicant records, and other workspace content may remain when they belong to an employer organization or other team members. Your access is removed and personal identifiers are deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
A limited record may be kept when required for accounting, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, security, an active dispute, or another legal obligation. It is retained only for the applicable statutory or necessary period, then deleted or anonymized.
Aggregated statistics that can no longer identify or be linked to you may be retained to understand platform performance and improve Shaqogoob.
Download anything you want to keep. Uninstalling the Shaqogoob app does not delete your account—you must complete one of the request methods above.
